About Me

My photo
Rhonda Cable
ok, this is the part where I talk about me...the one thing I'm not good at. I have always been interested in the arts, even before I was in school I can remember drawing on anything and everything. My favorite mediums are acrylics and watercolors...two very different mediums but so much fun to work with. Academically, I earned a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Miami University. In 2004 I published my first book with Plaid Enterprises, Vintage Collections, and Furniture Makeovers in 2005. In 2004 I painted an ornament for a tree in the White House, 2005 at the Library of Congress and 2009 at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian. In the Oct. 2010 issue of Somerset Memories I was the featured mixmedia artist. My goal is to find a niche where I can stay home and just paint....is that too much to ask????
